Invitations: 2 + 2

I love looking at invitation designs, and I collect links to some of my favorites. Today, I thought I'd share some fun ones with you: two wedding related invitations, and two birthday party invitations: 2 + 2. Let's start with wedding invitations.

This save the date is very elegant. I like the neutral color scheme, and I adore the envelopes! The kraft color is so cool, and the label and stamp add a lot to the design.

Another great invitation is this botanical themed one. I love invitations with lots of little parts to them. Getting this would be like getting a present in the mail. Again, I love the kraft color, as well as the way all the elements work together. The envelopes are great, too. I've seen the style of using lots of stamps and hand-addressing envelopes a lot lately, and I think it looks great.

Now for some birthday party invitations. Both of these are for little boys and the invitations are really cute. This dinosaur themed set is so bright and cheery! And I love the typography a lot. The type looks very grown up, but the dino illustrations make it look fun and kid-like at the same time. This is designed by Christine Wisnieski, who I've mentioned here before. And the idea of dino egg candy is very fun.

HT: Design Work Life
This wood silhouette and bow tie invitation is really creative. It must have cost some serious $$ to manufacture, but it looks amazing. The wood invitations are great, and I love the presentation of the bow tie along with the face silhouette. The type is good, too—I'm not sure what all the fonts are, but the cursive one is Wisdom Script. It looks like one of the others might be from Lost Type Co-op, too.

Do you have a favorite of these 2 + 2 invitations? I like them all, but I think my personal favorite has got to be the dinosaur one!
