Tangerine Tango is Pantone's color of the year. I posted a journal in that color yesterday, so you all got a little preview. But today I wanted to pick some fun items from other websites (things not put out by Pantone) that are in this Tangerine Tango color family. I like the bright, fun, orangey color a lot. It's a pleasant, vibrant shade.
Here are some clothing items and shoes in Tangerine Tango (or similar shades). It's not a color I usually think of wearing, but it's so bright and fun that maybe I should wear it!
01 // morningside knitted cardigan (ruche)
02 // sherbet punch sandal (modcloth)
04 // citrus back and relax top (modcloth)
05 // peach for the sky dress (modcloth)
06 // candy aisle wedge (modcloth)
07 // arbor crest print top (ruche)
In all these items, I love how the same color can be applied to so many different styles, from a Western looking plaid shirt to a warm cardigan to a dress with lace trim. Tangerine Tango sure is a versatile color.
Here are some accessories and household items with a Tangerine Tango color scheme. I like this color for home decor, too. It's so cheerful!
08 // garrison bag—flame (the vitrine)
09 // array orange bookcase (cb2)
11 // knitted blood orange pouf (cb2)
12 // 3-piece anemone vase set (cb2)
13 // feather bracelet, coral (dejavu)
Again, such happy orange items, and such a variety of styles. From the modern bookshelf to the elegant bracelet to the vintage telegram, Tangerine Tango can do just about anything.
What do you think of this color, and of the things I featured? I'd love to know what your thoughts are!
