Boy Girl Party

I've mentioned Susie Ghahremani's work before, and I like it a lot. Her items for her company Boy Girl Party are so cheerful and fun! She did the buttons from ModCloth I blogged about recently.

I wanted to feature some more of her work today, and Susie has been kind enough to provide me with some great photos to share of two of her newer items, taken by a photographer friend of hers (Renee Chartier). Thanks so much for sending the photos, Susie!

The two items I'd like to feature today are Susie's 2012 agenda and travel journal. I originally saw them on Poppytalk and I love them both! The cheerful colors and illustrations are great. Here are some views of the agenda.

What I love about this agenda, and also the journal I had awhile ago from Boy Girl Party, is that there's so much to look at. I love the different colors, the illustrations on every page, and the fun typography.

The cover of the agenda is really cute! i like the polka dot background and how the various patterns are layered on top of each other.

But even though there are a lot of things to look at, the design of the planner (cover and inside pages) isn't too busy or overwhelming. It's calm and cheerful.

I think planning would be such fun in a pretty agenda like this! Don't you? The travel journal is also really fun. Here are some photos of it:

I love the mixture of bold and quiet colors in this design. There's red and golden and lime green, but also light yellow, white, and sky blue. The mix is great. All the fun elements, like the map and roller skates, make this a really cool design.

I love that the journal includes a pocket - so handy! The handwritten typography is excellent. I like the way it looks handwritten, but it's still consistent and all the type matches.

 Look at all those colorful pages! How fun!
