Just Shapes, I

Today will feature two posts about design with shapes. Look for Part II later!

I found these shape oriented pieces by Matthew Korbel-Bowers via Design Work Life. While shapes are great when combined with other elements, sometimes it's nice to see them alone and realize that they are wonderful graphic elements all on their own. These images show that very well.

I like the colors, the use of white space, the textures mixed into some of the designs, and how uncluttered all of it is. It's not overwhelming but moves the focus to colors and shapes. What do you think of these shape-oriented pieces?
